Experience: Effective December 31, 2024, David Guttery, a valued member of our team, will transition as CEO of inSOURCE Financial Advisors. He looks forward to continuing the momentum Jim Christensen has established. David has been in practice for 34 years and brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
He believes service to the industry is vitally important and has been a member of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as well as a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table for more than ten years at Top of the Table or Court of the Table. He has also been in service with the Ameritas Field Advisory Committee for over 20 years.
David is a Registered Financial Consultant and is a member of the American Academy of Financial Management. He graduated from The University of Alabama in 1991 with a BS degree in Finance. David embarked on his financial planning career immediately following graduation. In July of 2006, David formed The Keystone Financial Group, and relocated his practice to Trussville, Alabama. The focal point of David’s practice is the design of both qualified and non-qualified retirement strategies for small and medium sized corporations. Other areas of practice include the structuring of retirement income, and estate strategies.
About: David believes activity to be important within one’s industry and community. David has served his hometown of Trussville Alabama as a former member of the Parks and Recreation Board, and is a former member of the Trussville City Schools Foundation Advisory Board. David has served upon the Finance Committee of his church, Clearbranch Global Methodist, and for sixteen years, he coached 8th & 9th grade boys basketball teams in the Trussville Parks and Recreation Leagues. David is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, and has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) for 33 years. At the present time, David serves Ameritas as a member of the Field Advisory Cabinet, and has served on various sub committees of the Cabinet, including the Annuity Task Force, and the Broker Dealer Task Force, for over twenty years. David and his wife Teresa live in Trussville, Alabama, and maintain a second home in Lincoln, Nebraska.
