Christy Anderson

Experience: I graduated from Troy State University with a degree in Mathematics with a minor in German. I spent several years studying/working abroad and was able to travel extensively within Germany as well as to several other countries including Greece and Australia. When I returned to Birmingham, AL, I worked at South Trust Bank’s call center. From there, I transferred internally to support the leadership team for the Birmingham branches and helped them through the merger with Wachovia. I then spent 16 years working as a contractor on the government’s retirement plan. From there, I transitioned to working in the retirement planning industry. I’ve now worked with Keystone Financial Group since November 2024 and feel like I’ve found where I belong. Supporting advisors at Keystone and InSOURCE keeps me very busy. My favorite part of the job is learning from my colleagues and getting to know our various clients, finding out more about their hopes and dreams, and putting the framework in place to help them reach their retirement goals.

About: In my free time, I love to cook. I read many books, and I practice various crafts including crochet, cross stitch, and drawing/painting. My long-time boyfriend, Jeremy, is a small engine mechanic, and we have 2 sweet cats that keep us quite busy with all of their demands.
